How to Check and Change Engine Oil

Proper engine oil management involves:

  1. Checking Oil Level:
    • Park the bike on a level surface and ensure the engine is cool.
    • Use the dipstick or inspection window to check oil level between the minimum and maximum markers.
  2. Changing Engine Oil:
    • Warm up the engine for 2-3 minutes.
    • Remove the drain plug to let the oil drain completely.
    • Replace the oil filter if necessary.
    • Reinstall the drain plug and refill with the recommended oil type and quantity.
    • Start the engine and check the oil level again, topping up if needed.
