{"id":77,"date":"2024-11-08T18:07:20","date_gmt":"2024-11-08T18:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/in.rajuginni.com\/gear\/?p=77"},"modified":"2024-11-08T19:48:02","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T19:48:02","slug":"bike-engine-overheating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.rajuginni.com\/gear\/bike-engine-overheating\/","title":{"rendered":"bike engine overheating problem reasons solution ft KTM RC 390 in air oil and liquid cooled systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction: my KTM RC 390 Overheating after 3-4Months of no use. when i went to rest ride to check whether it works or not it started and happly i went 1-2KM then suddenly raised the RPM and slowed down and stopped the vehicle. after few miuntes started. now there is a engine soud rattling. went showroom fixed its a Tensioner failed engines timing chain. and also replaced clutch plates. ignored heating and some bleeding in the head of engine. may due to head gasket or something.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Engine overheating can result in cracked engine blocks, warped pistons, and <strong>leaking gaskets.<\/strong> Additionally, the engine may produce <strong>terrible grinding and knocking noises<\/strong>. engine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clogged coolant hose:<\/strong> Coolant hoses carry coolant to and from the engine.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blocked radiator:<\/strong> When the <strong>radiator fins are blocked by debris<\/strong>, it reduces the engine&#8217;s cooling power<\/li>\n<li><strong>Low engine oil level<\/strong>: Low oil levels can contribute to engine overheating.<\/li>\n<li>Head gaket blows due to over heat (head leak engine) \/ cylindre pressure \/ degradation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coolant age:<\/strong> Green color coolants lasts for 2-3 years and pink color coolants lasts for 4-5 years. antifreeze, antirust agens degrade voertime.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Malfunctioning thermostat<\/strong>: A broken thermostat can <strong>get stuck in an open or closed state<\/strong>, which can cause the
